SGH
Been wanting to blog for a while before completing my lab but i ended up msning for 50mins..OMG!Yeah..reshuffling of furniture is finally done..happie..using my desktop now! And everything is so clean..Rose came over and tidy up my stuffs.. yeah! :) A comfortable place makes me wanna study harder and longer..
Having fun in school..cham liao..started to slack and tok in class..aiyoo..glad to haf gone to orientation..its really v difficult to make frens in uni..usually acquaintances..if i din go..tink i will only know my ex-colleague..haha
saw another freaking tall guy..shd b above 2m
had tuition..although only 2 questions..i understand alot of concepts..really nid to brush up..i had neva in my life study until lydat..its not even exams or tests..im seem like im preparing for it..well..good good..i need this momentum back
visited christina in sgh..the lumps on the ovaries were scary..irregular..saw the picture..pretty gross in fact..saw the power of insurance..$4000+, only have to pay about 20% of it..life is unpredictable huh..heard that the patient beside my fren even had her womb removed..cant haf kids..thats the saddest thing tt can happen to a woman..
yasmin is finally leaving that company..they are outsourcing the proj to India..well well..its a sucky proj..yeah..its time to do lab! happie happie!

Been so long since i last updated my blog..Getting abit lazy..abit blog-blank..
Realised that changing your phone number means losing alot of contacts. Still feeling that
effect up till now..
Im so happy..had my new tables from Ikea sometime ago..threw away my old cupboards (they are really heavy, i got a backache from carrying them), my old stuffs and softtoys. Its really
amazing how much junk i had with me inside those drawers..still can find primary school
stuffs in it..haha..so funny but all down the rubbish chute!
I realize in the past i used to write alot of letters..now i got a whole chunk of them from
my friends..i really dunno what to do with them..cant bear to throw dem away..but keep them
also dunno wad to do with it *how?*
I've got 2 big bags of softtoys to be thrown away..but cant bear to do it..some are still in
plastic bags..unopened..in the end my part-time maid took some away bcos she collects
them..I wasnt at home at that time..and she took away one doggie that i wanted..the doggie
with a heart shape on its feet..haha..it was a gift..i still wan it back for remembrance
sake..
Yeah! will shift my bed and cupboards and tables to a new position tmr! a brand new room! :)
Still sick..with a lot of phlegm..eeks..affecting my sense of taste..the way i tok..and
now..cant hear properly..ears feel blocked..pls go away soon..i got a presentation in 2 wks

Finally finished my lab exercises..awesomely excellent..haha..with the help of my
senior..really learnt alot..but looking at the 2nd lab..i feel so small again..have to work
harder!
Everyone's talking abt driving..i want my license and a car!
Went to Jiaen's church musical "2 Exits"..Emmaus Evangelical Free Church..its the sister
church of Covenant Evangelical Free Church which i attended a few services with my ex-
colleagues..so qiao..Well the musical wasnt tt fantastic..a raw production..but still got
their msg across..got high expectations cos i saw alot of very nice musicals before..but i
like their theme song..

I dunno why but i dun feel that kind of motivation after the musical..but i wanna go back to
church..i miss it so much.. :(
Waited for my fren at far east for half an hr..haha..its ok..dun feel angry or what..trying
to get rid of my impatient character..hee..got my bday pressies..2 sylvester..oh..i tot i
will b getting that doggie of mine..that i like for so long hehe..but hee..these 2 cats are
cute..zhengjie is afraid of them..he said "bu yao"..haha
Watched "The Maid"..was FORCED into watching the movie..so timid now..I still remember i
watched "The Ring" for 5times and i fell asleep when watching it for the fifth time..and I
was laughing all the way..Since then i was quite afraid to watch ghost shows maybe cos im
afraid of their sound effects..keep scaring me but actually its nothing..very irritating..
Was at Lido..wow..haven been there for ages cos i find tt their cinema is very old and the
chairs are not comfortable..but im so wrong..they changed their seats..alot of leg room for
those long legs of mine..not bad! And the movie..was freaky at first..but my fren was so
timid and i became brave..was laughing thruout the show..quite enjoyable ba..hehe..its the
company tt matters..haha..
Few points I realized
1) The maid gets employed and does nothing..The madam even peeled an egg for her to eat..and when its late..she gets shooed to bed..
2) They use really old props..even the old orange bustop..with the orange seats were filmed
in the show..
3) The doors in the house are old and creaky..and that sound of that old door screeching..i
cannot stand it and it happened like..3times!
4) Scenes were familiar..its seems like they copy scenes from "The Ring", "Ju-On" and "Dark
Waters" Maybe there were more but i dun remember
5) The lil kid in the lift was holding his kidneys with both his hands..I tink the kidneys
were relatively too large for a small boy..
6) The maids are quite pretty. The postman quite shuai too!
7) The maids speak better english than their Sir and Madam
8) Its really funny how come the maid still can work normally after she has seen so many
weird and scary stuffs
Local production..but well..considered good cos its freaky for some scenes..thumbs up!
Saw binz..aiyo..tt lil fringe of hers makes her a lil cute..haven seen her for quite
sometime huh..they going clubbing..so yupz..went back home..hehe..slept at freaking
5am..doing lab..i guess i am gonna have a hardtime getting to bed tonight.. :(

Weekend Summary
Yesterday finally saw Christina and Yasmin..updated each other abt whats happening in our lives..one in IBM, one still stuck in that company and me, gg back to sch..learnt so much abt hw to tuition kids and read funny compositions from secondary school students that wrote "John's stomach went upside down." haha..what the hell is he trying to say..perfectly wrong! And i cant believe i still remember my primary school science..its amazing..Gossip alot..really funny :) Cant believe that just 2 mths ago we were hanging out tog in the office, pantry time, tinking abt whr to go for lunch..and now..the lives we are leading is so different..Today went to olio to drink their olio smoothie..eeks..cheated..its banana smoothie..super erxin..but still gulp it dwn..heh..bought my laptop pouch..not v nice but it serves the purpose..had my printer done up..got new keyboard and chge my mouse..v happy..i feel so lousy..simple setup stuffs i oso dunno..i really dunno hw to survive in SOC..i tink computers dun like me..they alwaz spoil when i use them..why huh? even if i install sth..ppl do for 10mins..i get tons of errors and finally finish in 30mins..haiz..why cant dey cooperate with me?

10th/11th August 2005 - Combi of 2 days
Started my day at Billy Bombers with Haokee..was supposed to use the 1 for 1 voucher but in the end took the set lunch instead..haven meet up for quite sometime..the last time was when he lost his handphone n wallet..pls be more careful next time k? short 2 hrs of lunch but was enjoyable..hehe..nice..take care of yaself when u are going for training in thailand..shall meet up soon :) and i make sure it wun be such a rush meeting..hehe..Attended CS1101Y, learnt some of the stuffs in poly before so still can understand the lecture..followed by CS1105..practically was toking all the way..its more of ethical issues..nobody was listening to the lecturer cos she was practically toking to herself..haha..
Had dinner with Marvin at Holland V..thai express..eeks the beef rice taste so awful..but had nice banana boat thingy at gelare..next time u b gd k? take 165 home from holland v..dun take 7 and take 165 back agn and dun play with my ring..hehz..
Was super duper tired when i reached hm..but dunno y when i on my com..i dun feel tired anymore..in the end i slept at 3plus bcos i was configuring my broadband on my laptop..stupid cd..i missed a step otherwise i can slp earlier..had to wake up at 8am
Super tired..was abit late for class..discrete maths..cs1231x..i tink im gonna struggle for this..stupid lecturer use MSWORD to teach..type and explain at the same time..some propositions, some true some false..im lost.. :( gonna study this wkend le.. long break for 4hrs.. luckily got geokhui n xinwei.. else i will b so bored.. finally configured my laptop! Its actually v simple but i was dead tired at 3plus last nite so i decided to let others do it for me
Attended MA1301, i tink its relatively easier than that discrete maths..makes me feel more confident..but i nid to practise and practise..starting to feel all the stress piling up on me..Quickly rushed hm to slp after my lecture..slept for only 2hrs and set off to jurong point to meet jiaen
wow..haven meet her for years! it feels good..i tink its amazing to have sec sch frens that u seldom contact but once u all meet up and chat..you all feel so close ever again..everyone's bz with their lives..and meeting up once in a blue moon is wonderful..well..hope i can go for the musical on the 27th..let me ask ard who is going first..

Willy Wonka Joke
Met up with Marvin today :) Sorrie ger..guess u more or less noe why i wasnt able to meet u for the past 1 month.. Had fun today! :) its been such a long time since i last met u..yup..glad to b able to meet up today hehe..thanks for the "gun" you got for my lil nephew..hehe..dinno shopping at a toys fair was so fun..haha..you lar..powerpuff lover..oops..tink u gonna scold me for posting this! hehe..nice remote ctrl car that ive bought for my nephew..wah but looking at the batteries my heart sank..it seems like my frens all teng my nephew lor..why huh?So fortunate lor..too bad he doesnt noe..haha..innocent lil boy..Had Sakae Sushi again..there is this red plates promo for national day..nice and yummy..our bill totaled up to $50+..2person lei..so full so full but im hungry now..so sad wasnt able to eat my icecream..next time yea? Bought my slippers from far east..a very common pair of slippers that im gonna wear for sch..Watched -Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-

8th August 2005 - An End
Never gonna have the same kind of weekend that i last spent..everything has just changed overnight..Its not something that im gonna miss..its sth that i will be putting behind me for good..I hope that by the next time i re-read my archives..i will say "hey..i had long forgotten about such a life!"A taxi ride that i will never forget..the last one of course..and thanks for being there for me paly at 3am..You live up to ya 3.429! *clapclapclap* All it takes is a wake up call..a slap to wake u up from all ur hopes and desires and u will realise that you had been so foolish to believe in all the lies and promises that you know that it wun be fufilled..you are just pinning all ur hopes on this one person that is just not worth it..it all boils down to "what for?"
Being in it makes me all messed up..dun even noe what i am doing..i tot im trying my best to get what i want when in fact..its no longer the real me..im not happy..thats the point..people have their own limits..this wake up call serves as how much i can tolerate..it comes to a point when you totally give up on a person..thats when you dun feel hurt anymore..you do not care anymore..and the worst thing is you dun even feel sad at all..someone that is once so impt to you has become nothing within a snap..had already given up on a person before..this is the 2nd one..immuned is all that i can say..
chances were given so many times..its always when you lose someone den you will learn to treasure..so many times..always the perfect someone to you when you are gone but when you are around its a different issue..too many times..it has to stop..and so it shall be..Nothing much to say about it..dun wanna remind myself of it anymore..Just this time..one last time..be firm!

1st August 2005 - 3rd August 2005
(Midway through NUS Orientation Week)(Monday)
Orientation at 9am..Met up with Geok Hui, my ex colleague in veritas and went to her hostel to put down our stuffs before setting off for the orientation..It costs around 1200+ to stay for a semester (4months)..breakfast and dinner included..pretty expensive! Geok shares it with a roomie that was allocated to her randomly..Seriously i find that the room is well kept..spacious cupboards, desk, drawers, single beds.. A conducive environment to stay and study in..after all everything in sch is within ya reach.. Wireless connection as well.. isnt it great? Too bad there is no aircon, quite stuffy even though the fan is turned on..I thought that there would be mosquitoes because there are trees, bushes and grasses around the hall..but no..wasnt bitten at all! Another bad thing is that alot of money goes to phone bills..
Was in the group "MIST" (10 groups were formed based on NARUTO).. as a matter of fact, our OGL n OGAs arent very enthu ppl..they cant create that atmosphere of liveliness and fun within our group..There were many foreigners..from Vietnam, India, China..I have a lil difficulty understanding their english :( But well, played about 3 icebreaker games, one of which was wacko where we really got to know each other's names..was called many times..is "Meizhen" so ez to call? I chose that cos "Angela" is even easier..even the indians were like saying "Meizhen" too..haha..so funny! Yep..had my fair share of fun :)
Proceeded for lunch with the group..after that went to the Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony (FIC).. Been there before when YISS were having this drama performance some years ago.. so was familiar with getting there.. Met another computing student called Michelle..frenly girl that told me that i can take my programming modules without satisfying the pre-requisite (a priviledge for poly students).. It was lucky that I met her otherwise i would have cramped all my core modules together the next semester. Got a nice leather file from NUS :)
We waited for more than an hour before the FIC began..It started with Resonance, an acapella group..WOW..they are IMPRESSIVE! A group of 6 students were making music right in front of my eyes without any instruments..just their voice and the mic..it feels that a band is playing right before me..they are REALLY GOOD! The FIC started with the big shots of NUS and student leaders of all faculties marching in. There were tons of speeches, performance by the NUS choir (they scored 99/100 for a competition!) and multimedia presentations. Its an experience of a lifetime..

Its flag day..experienced it before when I was a freshie at Ngee Ann..there is no need to try it all over again..hehe..din go..had the day to myself :)
(Wednesday)
MIST's strength was only 7! From 30 to 7, dunno what happened to the rest..but luckily at night, some of them came for the night walk/treasure hunt, so we got about 20ppl at the end of the night..Most ppl were missing in the morning because of the bidding of modules..i did mine on tuesday night till 2am!
Had a library orientation on how to find books, journals and articles based on the computer system and library codes..It may sound boring to people reading this but hey..its quite fun..maybe because the lecturer was able to grab our attention..i was attentive ok! After that went to the arts faculty to play some games then proceeded for lunch..Geok Hui and I din bring any cash..we just brought our handphones along..so in the end..our OGA (William) treated us..he is undeniably our ATM machine..haha..The food in the canteen is cheap and nice..the portion is big too..really very affordable for students that arent working.. :)
After lunch we played another game before proceeding back to our blocks to continue with the bidding..really learnt alot from the seniors about what modules to take, which are the killers, which are the ones that we can score, the best lecturers and the worst ones..but the stupid CORS's server was overloaded with many ppl logging in at the same time..thus we all took 2hrs just to change the bid points, in the end, all was outbidded..sianz.. Due to the bad weather today, the war games were cancelled..thus we had alot of free time..we ended up playing dai dee and in the end.. 8 ppl played heart attack.. squealing, shrieking and shouting in the canteen.. haha.. v fun.. like kids!
Wenta munchie monkey to eat again..this time geok hui and i shared a BLT pizza..another new girl joined our group..Regina..she was from PJC..din see her for 2 days because she was in Malaysia then..still learning alot from the seniors about the courses and how to tackle them..was late for the briefing for our night walk..we took about 2 hrs dinner!
From Monday to Wednesday, the night walk/treasure hunt was the best! There are creeps at different levels of our 3 SOC buildings..so we have to go to these stations to play their games and earn badges..played many games like "Jenga", "Blackjack", "Mastermind", "Zhong Ji Mi Ma", "Knots", "Lucky card game", "Song guessing game", "IQ question", "Paper Aeroplane" and so much more.. its entertaining!
When we were at the "IQ Question" station, I saw a whole group of people blindfolded sitting at the canteen..A guy and a girl sat at an individual table and started their conversation for about 5-10mins..both are blind folded..seems like blind dates..after that short conver, OGLs will guide them away from the canteen so that they wun noe who they toked to just now..its very cool le..it seems enjoyable but these students are from the the science faculty..haha..i cant join :(
My OGA is a freaky 204cm tall! Im only till his shoulder..i feel so short! He is a really nice guy..our ATM for the day! hehe..can make jokes, can say serious stuffs about our course, can also let his hair down and play games..very frenly also..So thoughtful of him to buy us milo cause we are super cold in the LT..He was the only one that won the "Paper Aeroplane" game..we all call him our "LAO DA!" haha..
Everything ended at 10:30pm..went back to eusoff hall to retrieve back my stuffs and head off home..felt hungry..on the way home went to buy my supper..i reached home at 12am+..Yupz..and now blogging away..its 3am and Im having my UNIX workshop tmr at 9:30..I guess it is gonna be another long day! Till then..

Watched the repeat episode of project superstar results..that weichong really v er xin..cry until lydat..yucks..hehe..wed will be the 2nd round of semi-finals..i wun be able to watch it because im having orientation till 11pm..there is this night walk or sth..super time consuming and super tiring..yupz..i might be able to get tickets to watch superstar..thanks to marvin..but well wait till i get the tickets first..anyway..the time slots are kinda early..might not be able to make it too cos my sch is starting soon..Hang out with Peishan and Youfeng..had lotsa fun shopping, laughing and talking rubbish..hehe..thanks PS for getting me a MNG choker and the nice cropped top as birthday presents..hehe.. :)

Had loads of fun..went to great world to look for my sis..haven seen her for such a long time..business was gd tt day :) bought alot of keropok from a vendor..haven eaten them yet..heheAfter that went to crystal jade with my fren to eat..shark fins..sea bass..beef..fried rice and xue ha.. Super ex but well once in a while hehe :) Went to play pool after that..v fun le..haven played pool for such a long time..got back to square 1 already..haha..but still won some rounds thou..
