Our wedding preparations started with this..
I will be documenting down my once in a lifetime experience!
We have been discussing about marriage, houses, rings etc but no proposal was done. I didn't want to be proposed with a BTO application. That's so unromantic, so I told Ted that if there is no proposal, we shall not discuss anything about houses, marriage etc.
And so I waited and waited.. Quite difficult waiting you know.. I think I waited for about 6 months.
Finally he proposed to me with my dream ring at South Korea - Nami Island. The proposal was unexpected. I was expecting him to propose to me at the Seoul Tower but he didn't, so I gave up fantasizing that he will propose on the trip. Eventually he did and he caught me off-guard. Hehe

The ring was wayyyy too big for my fourth finger. It was a ring size 10. I'm a ring size 6.
We went down to Vivo Diamonds to have our ring alteration before I can wear it comfortably on my fourth finger.
Below pictures of my ring. Photos courtesy of Vivo Diamonds (but well, they din ask permission if we want our ring design to be on their site too)

I love the sidestones! Thank you dear! The one and only ring, as the designer is my dear himself. Love it!

Voting Day 2011
My first time voting in 26 years!
3 weeks back, I wasn't too concerned about the GE. There were so many news reports on GE but I was looking at the Japan Radiation case instead.
2 weeks ago, my colleagues were talking about it and laughing (kate spade, i don't know what to say, poor coffee shop owner etc). So I got curious and started reading.
It was very entertaining! I had a good laugh. Felt sorry for certain people, know certain people which I do not want as MP, impressed by a few candidates, disgusted at some unscrupulous tactics used by candidates etc.
One thing I will like to mentioned was the Rally by WP where the Singapore pledge was said with much gusto. It was not even National Day but I can feel the patriotism within fellow Singaporeans. It was a very touching side. A touching side which I did not see in years!
Well, I have casted my vote. It was pretty efficient with the voting taking less than 5 minutes. I don't know how secret my vote is. Even if it is not secret, I will still stand by my decision.
May the best party wins!
