Birth-day
To satisfy my cravings, I requested for a durian cake this year. Jiefu initially wanted to buy 1 whole durian and stick candles on it to represent a durian "cake". He also wanted to buy a plain cake and put real durians on top of it. I thought that would be fun, but he didn't do it because of time constaints. And so, they bought me a durian cake with a girly face that represents me.
They said it looks like me because of the hair parting. Does it?

Candles time! It's up to the kids creativity to place the candles every year. This is the result of their creativity!

They placed a candle right in the middle of the forehead cause it looks like ABNN. LOL.
For the first time, I received a birthday gift from Keat personally.

His message from the drawing is that I have to follow the arrows to get to my birthday cake. Simple but sweet from my 4 yr old nephew.
My sister and jiefu bought me a hairdryer.

I wanted a dryer that blows cold air so that it does not damage my hair and reduce hair fall. I use it everyday now!
I took leave for my birthday! Although birthdays are yearly affairs, I wouldn't want myself to slog in front of a computer on my birthday. I just want to be free and do whatever that i want.
I was discussing with dear what should we have for my birthday dinner. We realized we had tried Brazilian, Italian, French, German, Mexican, Japanese, etc but never did we go to a Chinese restaurant for celebrations.
Just nice, I was craving for delicious chilli crabs and had never been to No Signboard before, and so we went there.
We ordered 3 dishes. First up was the coffee pork ribs.

The aroma is really strong and adds a unique taste to the pork ribs. I like it, the picture makes mi salivate. Yumzz.
2nd dish - Cereal prawns

Love the crunchy cereal bits and the big prawns. However the taste is just ordinary.
3rd dish - Chilli crabs + Mantou

Had an enjoyable time eating fleshy crab meat while my dear does the shelling for me. It's not that I'm lazy but he can do a better job. *crack crack, twist turn, out comes the crab meat in 1 piece* Fantastic!
Me - The birthday gal

Lastly, my presents from my dear.
He bought me 2 Raoul shirts for work! I always wanted to try 1 ever since his endless compliments about his Raoul shirts and now I got it. :)
I like that it is long enough to be tucked in and does not jut out after tucking them it. Nice.
What I like about them the most is the letter 'R'. So pretty isn't it.

Even Michelle Chia is wearing the pink shirt too.
Lastly, my first Gucci wallet!

It is a Happy Birthday~

Company's Movie Night

My company booked the entire GV max theatre for all employees to watch "The Dark Knight". It's so cool and I didn't know that my company has more than 500 employees locally. Everyone of us can bring along friends and family for this movie and it's free. Of course, I brought my dear along for this. :)
It's Heath Ledger last movie and he acted really sadistic. I think he deserves an Oscar for this. Everyone was complimenting on his acting skills. But I really wonder why people only start to take notice of someone when he is gone. It's such a pity.
I love to see him in that nurse suit and that cute curly hair in the hospital scene.

The only time Heath goes without that hideous joker's makeup is when he was pretending to be a guard.

The Joker's famous quote - "Why so serious?"

This quote is "haunting" me everyday since my dear likes to mimic how heath said that line.
I think there is nothing spectacular about batman. I didn't really fancy christian bale and I hate the way batman talks with that low and hoarse voice. But I like his bike the most!! It's damn cool~~

Overall this movie is quite nice. 1 scary part that shocked me and lots of explosions. It's worth a weekend price but I'm even more happy cos I got to watch it for free!
I want more movie events from my company!

Yoga Lesson
Finally signed up for yoga at the community centre after hearing about the raves almost 3 years ago.
My damage before going for the first lesson.
- Yoga Class - $48
- Nike Yoga Mat - $34
- Nike Yoga Pants - $50
Total: $132Expensive isn't it? I'm gonna make my money worthwhile by going for all lessons, practising at home and continue to sign up for other classes when this class ends in September.
The first lesson is good, trainer is Indian as expected. I think I still need to practise on my breathing techniques. I dunno if I am inhaling and exhaling correctly in some stretching poses.
Looking forward to the next lesson. :)
