Letters

I was clearing out my cupboard a few days ago to prepare for the new semester and i found a paper bag and 2 shoeboxes worth of letters written in the past..Seriously i couldnt bear to throw them away but i have no other places to store them so i decided to read them ALL once again before i discard them ALL away.. *Xin Tong*

These are the lil treasures and funny stuffs that i found along the way..

First of all.. Kui.. do u still remember this? lol.. i actually kept it till now.. it has been 5 years already..

Digging through the letters i found a class photo of my best friend in primary school.. Scanning.. Scanning.. Scanning.. i found my poly friend shuhua! haha..i know the photo doesnt compliment her but well..the world is so small.. :)

In the past, i only have memories of writing letters to yuli and kaiqi..but actually i had written letters to a whole lot of friends..just to name a few before i forget again..jacqueline, eileen, marilyn, wanjia, regina, xiujing, eiko, zhuang man and gang. And i mean not just 1 or 2 letters..there are alot..maybe a minimum of 10letters from each one..and about a full foolscap page long..

When did i ever lend someone $10? lol..and i really dunno who is she..


Surprisingly..i found an angbao inside those piles of letters.. from my aunt.. $10.. and its those old $10 notes (Without Yusof Ishak) and is brand new.. crispy feeling.. haha..

And there are some people called mengkoon, jaslin, elaine, jacqueline whom i simply dont remember who they are at all~! And I believed I replied otherwise they wouldnt have sent me so many letters.. it makes me feel guilty that i dont even haf a slightest memory of them..

Actually Im curious what have I written to these people in the past, well, its no longer possible to read them now.. and i think it must be really childish to reread those thoughts i had in the past..

This is from Uncle Barry..my church friend..He was v v v v nice to me..always buy me food to eat..play with me..he know i like sylvester so he got me the space jam vcd (in the past)..its always nice to have someone that dotes on you :)

You know.. reading through those letters aint a v interesting thing to do.. esp when they are just chunks and chunks of words.. just like reading compositions.. but well.. this funny cranky friend of mine writes creative ones.. it alwaz brings a smile to my face whenever i pick up a letter from that whole stack and its hers..

I simply love the way she decorates and esp the way she writes my NAME..

and i dunno why my name became crazy radio and hers became slow speedy.. kids..

Sometimes when she has got nothing much to write about.. she will draw me stuffs

or write me lyrics.. at that time Candle in the Wind by Elton John was so famous and she's in love with Prince William..

Otherwise she will send me tissue papers! Yes.. i mean decorated tissue papers..

At 1 time, i even received this! lol..

It was just so fun to have her as a friend last time.. zhuang man, dorothy, chee chee and tian zhuang (Ps always laugh at me cos i used to write them as Special Friends in autograph books in secondary school..) It is sad because i had lost contact with them over the past few years.. but they had brought fun and laughter into my church life.. :)
