Friday Friday Friday

HeeHeeHee.. Friday has always been my slacking day.. I alwayz end up gg out.. shopping eating whatever.. without doing any work! Yeappy.. i love fridays..

Was out in town on friday.. ate pepper lunch.. actually i think im addicted to their butter rice.. so yummilicious.. Imagine this.. i eat it every week! Im serious.. Every weekend i will eat their curry beef pepper rice.. hee.. most prob next wk it will be pepper lunch again..without fail..haha!

Went for a movie.. I not stupid 2.. haha actually i was eyeing for the student price.. cos GV was having this promotion for students.. simply flash ya student card and you get the tix at $6

I was happy..looking at the poster that states all these and happily go to the counter and purchase my tickets..

Us: 2 Tickets for I Not Stupid 2 at 4:40pm
Auntie: 4:40pm? Ok..
Us: There is a student price for this movie?
Auntie: Huh? No..only for primary school kids
Us: ...............
Auntie: You still want the tickets?
Us: Yeah.. (Embarrassed le.. of course dowan to continue embarrassing ourselves anymore..paiseh)

Haha.. silly me.. Anyway the show is not bad.. $8 is ok bah.. Typical Singaporean jokes but thats the essence of Jack Neo's films..

Interesting Details in the Movie

1) Time flies..the last movie (I Not Stupid) lead actors were so young..which i classify them as kids..now..they are all grown up..so tall..even taller than Jack Neo!

2) The 2 of them are pretty boys..quite shuai lei..haha..i agree with u PS..Joshua is the handsome type while the other guy is more of the charming type..

3) Oh man, during the middle of the movie..there was this song..super Jay-alike..sounds like Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang..omg..is it Jack Neo who sang that song.. deserves a clap~! Seriously are they considering changing roles? Jay from a composer and singer..is becoming a director of MTVs..and Jack Neo, a director is switching roles to becoming a composer and a singer lol.. sounds ironic..

4) I think Huang Yi Liang's acting is really commendable..He gives me those goosebumps when he was about to die in the hospital scene..and it was really touching..I was moved seriously.. come to think of it..those contestants in star idol..still have a long long way to go..

5) This movie actually reminded me of stuffs which i know..yet do not practise.. maybe giving praises to people, appreciating people's talents rather than focusing on their weaknesses, treasure your loved ones beside you before they are gone..simple movie yet the messages it brings across, can people practise it?

Some people might say why waste money on a local production..rather spend that money on another movie..you can watch such shows on tv..dont have to go to the cinema..blah blah blah..i can picture myself saying this about korean movies or dramas..i always have this prejudice about korean shows..they are draggy and boring..there are exceptions and things do change as time goes by..if i didnt give korean shows another chance, i wouldnt have watched Full House.. lol.. its nice really.. funny..

So go catch the show if you can.. for entertainment purposes..

Ooh.. shopped for binbin's birthday pressie.. hehe.. wanted to buy him a toy drum.. cause he likes drumming things ALL THE TIME.. I just got this idea in my head.. dinno kiddy shops really sell them.. lol.. got him the present.. hehe i tink its cute.. :) But im 1 month earlier.. hide it first!

Ate at shashlik..hee..din expect it..drank borsch soup and ate their shashlik beef fillet with russian salad..i tink its weird to add a scoop of sour cream into the soup..the tot of it is weird..but the taste is nice :) and the beef.. wooo.. yummy.. for beef lovers..

Anyway their service is lousy..served by uncles and aunties who put the utensils on your table and start rearranging them even though you are seated there.. for the service line.. this is a no-no.. it is deemed as rude.. im not that professional but at least i noe some basic waitressing skills from my 2 years of catering experience.. I pay for service charge and i should expect better service isnt it so? I still prefer service charge to be optional..some people work hard..they deserve it..some simply dont..

Anyway its a nice place to dine..the food is good..its not very cheap..two of us..about $70+..so yeah..go haf a try..its famous but remember..no slippers..no singlets..dress proper!
