We went to the Zoo Zoo Zoooooo~
Keat has been showing interest in visiting the zoo again after his first trip 2 years ago. After referring back to my old post - At The Zoo, I think it is time to bring them for a 2nd visit.
Tadah! With this card, 2 adults and 2 kids enter the zoo for free! Thanks to my company for providing such a benefit to employees like me. But it wasn't so simple. I was in the wait-list from May till September. Can you imagine how many people are in this list? Phew~ Free things don't come easy.
We were greeted by the lovely cow from Ben & Jerry's at the entrance. At that moment, Keat was busy sneezing away. He was actually sick but because he had been waiting for this trip since forever (May to Sep is a very long wait for a kid), his mom allowed him to come along with us. The adults are the ones that suffer, cause we ended up taking tissue papers and clearing his mucus every now and then. Haiz.

This pic was requested by the kids! The performers were really friendly and tried to hold their hands and touch them. But they were always so shy and kept tugging at our jeans and hiding behind our butts. Heehee.If you refer to my older posts, you can see that these 2 kids usually just stand still for a photo. But now, they are different.
See! They came up with the pose themselves. No one told them what to do.
I want to take a picture with this! Everywhere they go, whether is it at home or outside, they just adore any vehicle.
With kids around, it is always easier to grab a meal at any fast food restaurant. Look at them, happily sipping their Pepsi after eating their Chicky meal at KFC.
Dear asked them if they want to ride on the pony. They said "YES!" Then he walk quite a distance to buy the tickets. While he is gone, I talk to the kids, and tried to get them up on the pony. They declined. They changed their mind. Even after much persuasion, they still do not want to be on the pony. So poor dear made a double trip to the ticketing counter to get a refund. *shakes head*
Look at how long the Kangaroo's feet are, as compared to Keat's feet.
Ah! Why are my feet so small?!?!?!
Then we arrive at the area where visitors can feed the kangaroos by donating $5 to a charity box (the green box in the picture).Then the conversation between the 2 adults and the 2 kids goes like this:
Kids: I want to feed the Kangaroos!!!
Adults: You sure anot?
Kids: YES!
Adults: Are you afraid of the Kangaroos?
Kids: NO!
Adults: Will you back out at the last minute just like the pony ride?
Kids: NO!
And so, we paid $5 to the zookeeper.

Hungry kangaroos are approaching BinBin. (Take note of his legs)
Binbin got scared and dare not even feed the kangaroos.
His saviour needs to fend these kangaroos away because he was so afraid (Look at the position of his legs.. lol)
This is me, feeding the kangaroo who was salivating all over my hand. And see how far Keat is sitting away from me. But at least he fed the kangaroo once before he fled. Heeee.Even though I brought 2 little timid rascals to the zoo, they still had lotsa fun. =) It was a really tiring day and all of us concussed in bed after that.
Hope I get more free tickets from my company next time and the kids will get to enjoy again!
